Shield Me App Development Report - 4/15/2025

First and foremost, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s been following and supporting the development of Shield Me. Your encouragement fuels our mission, and today, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve hit a major milestone that brings us one giant leap closer to our goal. Over the past few weeks, we’ve made some big decisions and achieved critical progress on both the front and backend of our system.

Front-End Development Highlights

We’ve made major strides in building a seamless user experience within the Shield Me app. Here’s what we’ve recently completed:

• Implemented and finalized inbound call screens for real-time scam monitoring.

• Completed the foundation of our Family Alert System — empowering users to stay informed about threats to loved ones.

• Integrated a functioning Family Code System to easily connect household accounts.

Back-End Development Progress

We’re excited to announce that real-time scam call analysis is now officially operational using Vonage’s VOIP system. We have confirmed the system accurately predicts scam confidence percentages and does so whilst accessing a live audio feed from an inbound call. This milestone proves that our AI-powered scam detection system is capable of running accurately in real time — a breakthrough we believe is the first of its kind.

To ensure accuracy, low latency, and scalability, we are happy to announce that we have chosen Vonage as our primsry VOIP provider for our service. This ammends our previous announcement of utilizing Twilio, allowing us to pave the way for a great future for our application.

Upcoming To-Dos

We’re not slowing down. Here’s what’s next for Shield Me:

• Migrate our custom APIs to the cloud to improve latency and system efficiency.

• Develop an AI-powered help bot to guide users through features and setup.

• Launch our in-app learning articles, offering scam education and protection tips tailored to each user’s needs.

• Enable user subscription systems via Google Play and The Apple App Store.
